Susan is the great granddaughter of eminent Anglo-Indian Revd J S Isaacs Commissioner Lahore City 1890s, who moved from Agra to Delhi in 1913 to later become Delhi’s(Chief) Revenues Officer in 1926, the great grandniece of Principal Eric Isaacs of Rang Mahal High School Lahore, the granddaughter of Ms. Mary Isaacs Rebeiro India’s first Postmistress, and daughter of Charles Cecil and Jeanette Constance Wilson Joseph.

A European Postgraduate Scholar, she studied at Nottingham Trent University, Britain 1992 – 1993 and was Manager Reservation The Metropolitan Dubai UAE. She worked for several years as Head Front Office and Admin Geberit International Switzerland/ UAE.

Member M 4265 India Intl Centre, Life Member Forum of Friends of ICCR + Assn of British Scholars + Intl Centre Goa, Susan represented the Christian community to greet Presidents R Venkata Raman and Dr S D Sharma at major events in Rashtrapati Bhavan.

As YMCA chorister she performed in the presence of PM Indira Gandhi 1982 – 1983 and was Youth Leader at the All- India Anglo Indian Assn annual events under Frank Anthony, also at The Skinner’s Horse Regiment Exhibition at the historic (1836) St James Church Delhi where our family has worshiped since 1913.

In fact, our Family including Susan are listed in the only civilian plaque at St James’ in near two centuries.

Ever the volunteer for social causes, she was a Blood donor and helped run our Home kitchen at C45 Jangpura Extn 24×7 during the traumatic 1984 anti-Sikh riots, also working for The Times of India Riot Relief Fund 1984.

The loveliest and most caring member of our Family, our darling Susan was diagnosed with cancer in 2015 and fought positively and bravely for 6 years.

She passed away 5 May AD 2021.
